I have been talking about time, productivity, goals, and work-life integration since 2002, that’s when I joined the family business. Back then, Trapper and I worked exclusively with Day-Timer, the original paper planner.
Fast forward to today. We still use the same calendar and clock, but there is a myriad of tools designed to help us improve how we invest time. It’s complicated and can be overwhelming.
I’m the author of Attack Your Day Before It Attacks You, first published in 2010. A revised edition was published in 2012 by Financial Times Press in three languages. Content from the book has been integrated into HigherEd courses for onboarding success and retention.
When I’m not talking about time or giving a lecture, I’m consulting with leaders and organizations on productivity, process management, strategy, and business development.
I like building things with my hands, which includes renovating old houses. I get absolute satisfaction looking at an old, dilapidated house, visualizing what it can be, and then turning that into reality. Cooking has always been something I have enjoyed, and now with Home Chef, it’s made it more of regular activity.
I’m an Ironman triathlete. I enjoy the outdoors hiking, biking, skiing and exploring National parks in an RV with the family and my Great Dane “Maya.”
